Mechanical Design Engineer Wind Turbine Design

Responsibilities

• As a mechanical engineer you are responsible for the design of wind turbines.
• You create and maintain drawings using CAD tools and techniques.
• You demonstrate initiative and judgment in such matters as selecting, placing and accentuating detail or in identifying problems.
• You exercise initiative in completing recurring assignments independently.
• You check interfaces between components.

Requirements

• Educational requirement is an engineering degree (B.Sc or M.Sc.).
• You have good knowledge of and experience with the use of CAD systems as SolidWorks and Pro Engineer. 

Profile

• Knowledge of the wind energy industry is an advantage.
• You convincingly present your results and clarify your work.
• You can document the work you performed.
• Significant experience in the field of 3D design of large components and integration of smaller parts within these large components.
  
• You feel well at home in a team, know the different phases of a project and can adapt to these phases, but you are also able to perform independently.
