Chief Engineer Electrical
Responsibilities
- You can translate in an effective and efficient manner the wishes of the customer in clear technical analyses and design
- You can make transparent design recommendations and where necessary development recommendations
- Your knowledge and experience is of added value and you are able to translate technical possibilities in innovative ideas and/or
- you will be responsible for the design of new concept wind turbines at multi-MW ratings
Requirements
- You have a superb ability to express in an orally and written way
- You know the customer and anticipate on the wishes and needs of the customer, identify deviations and you are part of the project management team
- BEng, BSc, or BS in Electrical Engineering is required; advanced degree preferred.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant engineering and electrical system design experience is required
- Strong understanding of wind turbine technology, as well as a thorough understanding of Wind Turbine IEC 61400-xx Standards and Certification is preferred

- You know the different phases of the developing and design process and you have no effort with reporting and commenting your analyses
- Moreover you are an independent, analytical and creative go-getter and a team player
- You have good knowledge of the languages relevant for MECAL, particularly English and German
