This year MECAL presented a revolutionary 6-DOF active vibration isolated platform (the Hummingbird). Another product that MECAL showed at the exhibition is the Cornea Topographer. MECAL developed this opto-mechatronic system for measuring the cornea of a human eye with unsurpassed accuracy. The Cornea Topographer is capable of constructing surface- and height maps based on 400.000 points on the cornea, up to a diameter of 22 mm. By presenting de Cornea Topographer, MECAL showed her business partners expertise on opto-mechatronics.
