NEWS Shanghai Huayi Wind Power Electric, cooperation agreement with MECAL

Huayi Electric Company’s sub-subsidiary Shanghai Huayi Wind Power Electric has signed a contract with Dutch company MECAL B.V.’s subsidiaries MECAL Applied Mechanics B.V. and MECAL Asia.

According to the contract, Huayi will cooperate with MECAL to develop 6 MW (megawatt) offshore wind turbines. The contract value is app. €4.2 million for MECAL.

Dutch minister of Economic affairs, Agriculture and Innovation, Mr Verhagen was present at the signing ceremony with Shanghai Huayi Electric & Wind Power Ltd and MECAL Applied Mechanics & MECAL Asia in China.
