MECAL is present at RenewableUK 2010, 2-4 November, Glasgow
RenewableUK is the UK's leading renewable energy trade association, specialising in the wind, wave and tidal stream energy industries.
RenewableUK formed in 1978, and now has more than 600 corporate members ranging across the entire industry.
The association´s growth reflects the wider growth of our sector, from academics mapping out the possibilities of the science in the 1970´s & 80s, to independent entrepreneurs building the first projects in the 1990´s, to multi-national energy companies funding vast offshore arrays today.
RenewableUK act as a central point for information and as a lobbying group for the sector to government, industry, media and the public. We research and find solutions to current issues and act as the forum for the industry, bringing key players together through working groups and events.
Members of RenewableUK range from small independent companies to the largest international corporations, providing us with a united and representative voice and offering our members fantastic networking opportunities.
